MSR DynaLock™ Explore Backcountry Poles

MSR’s mountaineering-oriented and versatile all-around 3-section fully adjustable aluminum hiking and trekking poles.  Extends from 64 to 140 cm.  Great poles for hiking, backpacking, climbing approaches, snowshoeing, split snowboarding, travel, etc.  Aluminum poles can be more difficult to accidentally snap in half like carbon poles can sometimes do in extreme stressed situations.  This is a significant advantage and preference for some users.  3-section poles give you a much larger range of length adjustment than 2-section poles, and allow the poles to become much more compact for carrying on your pack or in your luggage when needed.  DynaLock™ mechanisms allow for quick and easy length adjustments and tool-free tensioning.  Extended EVA foam grips for ease of sidehilling and choking up on steep terrain that provide all day comfort and more warmth in cold conditions.  Both powder baskets and trekking baskets are included.
