This new G5 EVO from La Sportiva is their latest state-of-the-art evolution from the former industry standard Batura climbing boot, and will replace this as one of the premier choices in footwear for cold weather ice climbing as well as extremely technical climbing at higher altitudes.  These new boots are warmer than their predecessors, while remaining lightweight, low profile, and nimble for the demanding needs of alpinists and more technically oriented mountaineers and winter climbers.  The unique incorporated external BOA® fast lacing dial system allows you to quickly and easily fine tune the forefit fit of the boots without having to remove bulky handwear as feet swell and situations change.  The G5 EVO is fully synthetic and waterproof, with an integrated ultrasonic welded and heat sealed gaiter.
